Adrift

You do not have to be in the sea
To feel like you’re adrift

Lost from day to day
With no real direction

Disconnected from those around you
Alone as the world bring chaos

Friends and family at a distance
Joy just a memory

Jesus seems miles away
And His hope no longer yours

He has not deserted you though
He is still by your side

God’s arm is never too short
To wrap around you

Reach out your hand
And let Him lead you back

He will guide you back to shore
To the harbor of His love
