In the Garden

In the garden there is perfection
We walk with God each day
In the garden He shows His affection
We enjoy each one of the sun’s warm rays

In the garden there is reason to hide
We must cover our naked skin
In the garden the serpent has lied
We have discovered shame and sin

In the garden there are tears
He falls to His knees
In the garden the men are drawing near
He asks His Father please

In the garden there is an empty tomb
The women are afraid
In the garden things are not as they assumed
Only cloth where his body was laid
